Keep The Lights On by Jack Bjorn Photography

Our faces always light up when we get tagged in your photos on Instagram and Facebook. We absolutely love seeing you enjoy our sandwiches in both Portland and Bath, but when Jack Bjorn Photography tagged us, we had a new feeling of excitement!

He has been working on a project called “Keep The Lights On” for quite some time, capturing photos of all the neon signs around your favorite Portland spots. We always say our peace, love and sandwiches neon sign is the bright shining light in Monument Square - no matter the time of day we’re radiating happiness and positivity.

Through the pandemic, it’s been so hard to know what comes next - from closing for a while, cutting back our hours and staff, losing all of our catering orders that we rely on for a solid form of income and every little thing in between - we know we’re not alone when we look at all of our other bright and shining friends on the photograph Jack created.

We are so thankful for the community support we’ve received, and for Jack to take the time to create a beautiful piece of art that represents this community!

We are so happy to share that Jack has just launched his new website and we would love for you to check out his beautiful landscape and nature photography.

Not only has he created a beautiful new website, but he is selling prints and donating proceeds to the Re-Up Maine Restaurant Relief Fund - a resource we have relied on and are thankful to have.
